Simone is an Undergraduate Student with the Engineering Health team at the UHN KITE Research Institute. She is currently working towards completing an Honors Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, with a double major in Neuroscience and Immunology.
Since May 2024, Simone has been collaborating with team members to systematically analyze the causes of mobility device damage during air travel. She is passionate about improving accessibility and removing barriers, both in everyday life and within healthcare. Simone’s work reflects her dedication to creating inclusive environments and advancing solutions that empower individuals to navigate the world without limitations.
