Nikola is a graduate student with the Engineering Health team at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. He completed his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at McMaster University and is currently enrolled in a Master of Applied Science in the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto. Nikola has a strong interest in soft tissue injuries, their management, and associated costs. His main research projects involve improving the accuracy and position detection of a pressure offloading system and investigating how this system can impact pressure injury healing and management in a homecare setting.
